Update

It has been cloudy and overcast the past few days, so no pictures to show of the baby quilt, mobile or other finished items.  The quilt top is done, and I'm hoping to get it basted and at least partly quilted tonight.  Hopefully pictures to follow soon.

We're going to a pig roast tomorrow.  Diego and Al are very excited.  I'm a little grossed out.  Plus I've been joking around about not being in any condition to be seen in public, but it's not really a joke at this point.  I caught a glimpse of myself in the mirror at the kids' pediatrician's office today and... well lets just say it's not pretty.

Penelope pinched a binky from her friend Rosie's house last week.  Who knew a 2-year old could develop an attachment to a binky so late in life.  She asks for it all the time.  So far we are trying to enforce a 'bedtime only' rule for the thing.  She also wakes up in the middle of the night because she can't find it.  And she holds it in her mouth and mumbles and drools around it.  All the reasons I don't like binkies and never gave either kid one to begin with.  Guess it's just another lesson in "I'm not in control."

Oh, and I found a small turd on the dining room table last night.  So far no one is taking credit for it, but I have my suspicions.
